Retiro Park

(free delivery)

Retiro Park is one of the largest green areas in Madrid and one of the main centres of cultural, sporting and leisure activities. It’s basically an oasis for all citizens in Madrid.

Within its 118 hectares and over 15.000 trees, we can find numerous gardens and green landscapes to visit or sit down and sunbathe.

We can find many architectonic beauties like the Crystal Pavillion which was built in 1887, the central pond which is decorated with a monument dedicated to Alfonso XII, the La Rosaleda statues passway or the Fuente del Angel Caido, the only statue in Europa dedicated to the devil.

Juan Carlos I Park (+10€)

Located on the outskirts of Madrid, it has over 160 hectares of green areas.

It was inaugurated in 1992 as a celebration of Madrid being the European Capital of Culture that year. Inside its gates we find several emblematic zones differentiated with over 20 giant sculptures, an olive garden with over 3,000 square meters, a lake and a 2,000-meter river.

We can also find children areas with some ziplines and free rental bike service. And of course, enormous green fields where you can relax, workout or fly a kite. Our favorite location for family picnics.
